silent vision

no one told me life was to take seriously

they only said “actions have consequences”

but i felt like even breathing had consequences

maybe it is a misconception

that everybody seems to be convinced of

and that no one told us how to face

but i have a splinter of belief it’s sky’s joke on us

so all that’s left for him is laugh and continue to

blame and torture us humble, quiet people

for a misdeed we performed in a time unknown

for some steps we took without looking ahead

for every little, futile mistake that made us

run for our life with no creature following

just to stumble, fall on our knees and see

the corpses leaving land and starting over again
